Imagine building a brand new dream home and not having to worry about the endless details and decisions that are an inevitable part of the process. The latest Three Birds home was seeded from this idea - to fully design a home, from floorplan to fixtures, that people could buy and build on their own block of land. A stoke of genuis.

In House #14, coined ‘Three Birds Dream Home’, the Birds teamed up with building company Rawson Homes to create an exclusive Knock Down Rebuild package. No detail has been spared, from skirting boards to lighting, tapware to tiles. And the best part is there’s no risk of decision fatigue because all the design choices have been made for people to have the signature Three Birds coastal-cool style for themselves. For the final styling, they chose some pieces from The Dharma Door collection for those key textural touches that help to make a house feel like a home.

“That’s what I always loved...this idea of it being the ultimate building experience in that we’ve done all the designing for you. We've chosen everything. For the person who buys the home, it’s such an easier building experience than when you have to do it yourself” ~ Lana

Throughout the five episode reveal of this home, Three Birds took us on a journey from mood board; to facade & floorplan; to fitout, fixtures & fittings; the construction; and the bit we all can't wait for, the whole home reveal. For House #14, they selected all of their favourite elements from previous homes in their renovation stable. In true signature style, this home features plenty of white, external weatherboards, a double height living area flooded with natural light, a bar area and a huge master bedroom.

“What we’re doing is not cookie cutter. We’re here doing a project home to do something a little different” - Bonnie

Special details make this home unique. It’s all about the curves in the Three Birds Dream Home - the ends of the kitchen island, the stunning staircase, round feature windows and some of the furniture all feature soft curves. Natural fibres, timber and stone elements in the lighting and furniture selections add warmth and texture to an all white palette, while brushed gold tapware and hardware add an element of luxury. The white-oiled timber floors are grounding and the ultimate finished product is a relaxed, coastal style that’s easy to live in.

“The Three Birds style is a style of it’s own and we would like to think that it is very classic. It has a degree of luxe to it, a degree of class and hopefully a lot of longevity” - Erin
